How Learning Happens At Active Kidz
Our Kindergarten class has been busy planting a mini herb and flower garden in our playground with one of the children’s Aunts. After planting an indoor vegetable garden, we decided to see how the process unfolds outside. A family volunteer created a hanging garden, which she donated, and provided everything the children needed to create their herb and flower patch. The children used all their senses throughout this experience and are now responsible for the daily maintenance of their garden, and each day make new discoveries.
